What do you put up?

Well I was on my routine check of TH ning and I came across this little discussion.
It's about the internet - who knew Tokio Hotel would be so interesting, lol.

So it's about what Bill - the lead singer - said in a recent interview thing. Here is what he said -

"I think it's so bad! Well, sure, it offers lots of opportunities but there are so many bad things about it [internet]. I mean, if I could press a button, to press a button right now to shut down the internet for all, for everyone, I would do it immediately! You do something and one minute later it's on the internet and all over the world. And everyone is allowed to comment on it. Everyone can judge it. Everyone gives his/her opinion about it. And..I often think something is destroyed! The fascination disappears, magic you imagined when you did something. Because everyone destroys it immediately and people add comments everywhere. They all mess it up! ....Also the appreciation of all kinds of products: magazines, of whatever books, fashion, music, movies. It doesn't exist anymore because you can easily get it online with one click!"

It's interesting eh?
Well this is what I commented -

I actually think Bill is right, well except for the turning it off, coz then I would die ;) But like especially with music - with the whole humanoid leaking, I think that is when he/they really started to think about it -you can go and download music, it's everywhere, and you could go onto YouTube and look up any old live performance and go that's good enough for me and don't go actually see them live.
I am actually quite conscious about what I put out there. I say a lot of things, but I never post where I live or anything and I hardly ever post a picture of myself - I think I'm a little paranoid I guess.

But then there are good sides of the internet too, this site - I've learnt a lot of things from wonderful people over the world, if it wasn't for the internet I, like Luisa Bella Maria, wouldn't know who TH are - plus a lot of other bands. And again, back to the music, the internet is good for new bands - my favourite radio has a sub website about a program called Unearthed, and it's all about unsigned and new bands.

Ok, I think that's enough rambling for me, but thanks Lucy, I'll think again next time I chuck up some stuff.

So what do you think? Leave a comment , you know you want to!

Tumblr.

Tumblr. It's a great thing isn't it? Oh, how rude of me, assuming everyone knows what Tumblr is! Well let me explain, it's a blog and in a way, it's kinda like Facebook, just with a lot more photos. You can post blogs - though, hardly anyone does - photos, quotes, links, video, audio and a few others. Then your followers, or randoms can ♥ or reblog your post.

I first found about this lovely web site by a girl that I used to talk to on Ning - she was aussie too - but then I found out about Polyvore - she showed me that too - and a lot of people use that for pictures.

Now, I'm going to show you some of my favourite.. I'm not sure what to call them, oh well, I'll call them tumblrs.

Because I am currently into vintage - I want to run away and live in a cottage with Patrick Wolf and wear vintage clothes and drink tea, a girl can dream ok?! - and so most of these will reflect that.

End Of March - My personal favourite. It has beautiful pictures of forests and cottages and floral patterns and Peter Rabbit.
I'm pretty sure it's a girl and I just found out she has a blog.

Psychedelic Mango - Now this is more of a music kinda blog. He - I know it this time - has very cool pictures of bands and stuff, plus he likes The Horrors and often posts pictures of Faris Badwin which is a very good thing for me ;)

Restart My Heart - This is a very big one on Polyvore. It has pictures of landscapes, quotes of love, and interesting pictures of people.

Run and Tell All The Angels
- I'd call this a teenager blog. It features lots of pictures of boys - with tattoos - of teenagers running a muck, and Vans, lol. Some times you need rebel inspiration ok? ;)

Tree Castles - This is another vintage kinda blog, but it features more people. It has beautiful black and white images of fawns, dresses and school boys.

Where Did All The Love Go? - Indie? Did you say indie? Well that's exactly what that blog is! It has pictures of boys, girls, music, and everything else that's indie.

Let's Just Blame The Weather - Another indie/hipster blog. All the photo's are taken by herself and or her friends. I think that's very inspiring by it's self.

And that concludes my Tumblr blog post. Now don't forget, I too have a Tumblr blog, and if I have convinced you to get Tumblr, or you have it already, you should totally follow me.

Oh and P.S I finished my story and got it printed out yesterday :D :D

Spare time.

Do you like my band new banner? I do. I thought, hmm maybe since I've changed my fav band list over the months, and seeing that Florence and Patrick weren't even in the other banner, I needed a change.

Well what have I been doing this whole weekend, I've either been playing Ratchet and Clank on my brother's PlayStation 3 or writing this story I'm entering in a competition.

And now that's what I'm gonna do, write some more of that story.

Oh, check out some new stuff on my other blogs -
Summer Music and Italian Fashions.

I like books so fuck ya.

Hey mannnnnn (Red Ink introduction video, get with the program, geez! lol)

Well I haven't blogged in like ageessss, but oh well. Italy was amazing just so you know ;)

Now, I'd just like to dedicate this blog to books. Yep them thick things that mostly chill on people's shelves.

So, currently I am reading... Bram Stoker's Dracula! Now let me tell you, tis quite a good book. When I finish I'm going to watch the movies, first I'm gonna watch the black and white one from the 30's (I ♥ black and white movies) and then the one simply title 'Bram Stokers Dracula.' I've read about 2/3's of it and I just don't want to put it down, but I also want to finish it because I have about ten (no joke) books waiting in line, in which I will list later.
I've decided, that I'm going to read all the good Gothic stories, such as Dracula. How am I going to get these books? Christmas of course :P
I will be getting...
-Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
-Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
-The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
I did have others, but I can't remember them

Ok yet again I have to do this, I'm not going to tell you the books that are in line, sorry about that.

So anyways, cya.

It's been so long.....

It's almost been four months since I last posted. Now I do have an excuse. My computer recently got a virus and though I now have gotten rid of it, it took away some of my connections like to Messenger and Windows Live Writer and even Itunes!!

Now just a quick update for you all, I'm going to ITALY in 17 days. I'm so fucking excited!! We're gonna be going round the country for 11 days where we will visit the likes of Rome, Florence, Pisa, Sorrento among others. Then, for the next 10 days we will go stay in Padua with a host family :)

:( I have to go now, but don't forget to check out my other blogs (linkage on the right :P)

Slowly in the rain story.

Based on this set that i made on polyvore

As the sun vanished behind the horizon, she let out a breath.

She thought of him, and what he did, the sleepless nights wishing he would come back, the tears, the tears that fell daily.

Others wouldn’t have been able to forgive, but she was different.

She loved him so much more.

He was her world and he let her fall, but she didn’t realise.

She began walking towards the pier. Where they were to meet.

Her light footsteps barely made a sound on the echoing wood of the pier.

The weather man said that a storm was coming; yet, the sea was still beneath her. It was the calm before the storm.

Her sister had recently died in a horrific road accident. She was thrown fifty meters across the bitumen. She was found in his arms, but it was ok, they were best friends, he was protecting her, that’s what friends do, he didn’t what her to die, nothing else.

As she neared the end of the pier, her footsteps slowed and she spun round.

A tall silhouette slowly became clearer as it approached.

She was willing to forgive him for everything…

One thousand gaping black eyes stared at me as I lay still on the ground. It was a miracle I was still breathing, after the injuries I had sustained.

I tied to look move, but I couldn’t.

I pulled my self towards him.

We were going 200 miles an hour, just me and him. I felt like I was flying, my adrenaline was pumping as the wind was flying through my hair. It was just us and the open road, or at lead that’s what we though. He was playing around, he didn’t realise until it was too late. He lost control of the bike and smashed into the truck. For a moment I felt as if I had wings, then we came into contact with the hard surface that was the road. I felt myself skidding till I came to a rest.

I knew no one would come to our rescue. I knew I was going to die.

I thought of my sister. She said she loved him and he told her that, but really, he loved me.

I told her we were only best friends, but it wasn’t true. He never had feelings for her; he just didn’t want to break her heart, being my twin and all.

I told her, “he’s my best friend; I know he’ll break your heart,” but she wouldn’t listen, she said that they were ‘soul mates.’

I tried to laugh, but my lungs were burning.

I heard a crow croak in the distance.

As I crawled towards I could feel the stones etch deeper and deeper into my skin.

His body lay lifeless on the road, not moving forevermore. His dark hair flowing over his face. His perfect skin bloody and scared, yet, he was still perfect in every way.

I pulled myself into his dead and lifeless arms. At least my dying moments would be in his arms, not my best friend, but my lover.

She smiled at him as his petite features could be seen as he neared.

‘You came,’ she whispered.

He nodded.

‘We need to talk.’ He said breaking the silence.

‘Of course, my love,’

‘Please, don’t call me that.’

‘What do you mean?’

‘You know.’ he replied.

He looked out into the ocean. Once calm, now rough and changing.

‘I don’t love you.’ He said not even looking at her.

‘What do you mean?’

‘I don’t love you. You can’t get and clearer than that,’ he said in a cold tone.

‘What, it can’t be, you told me that you loved me.’

‘I was lying. I… I never loved you.’

‘You made a vow, a vow of everlasting love.’

He shook his head, ‘no, I did not do such thing.’

‘You did, and you gave me this ring,’ she said thrusting her hand forward.

He shook his. ‘I never gave you that ring.’

‘You did,’ she almost yelled, ‘and you said that you would love me forever till the sun and the stars fell out of the sky.’

‘I’m leaving you, I can be with you, you’re sucking the life out of me.’

She shook her head, knowing her voice would betray her.

‘This is good bye.’ He said before turning on his heel.

‘No, please.’ Her voice breaking as she grabbed him.

‘You have to let go of me.’

‘I can’t, I love you.’

‘But I do not feel the same way.’

‘You do, you have to.’ She shook her head.

‘No, but I do not.’

‘But I forgive you. I forgive you for everything. For all of your sins… ’

‘I doesn’t matter.’

‘..for killing my sister.’

His face turned cold as he looked at her, ‘I would never hurt your sister, she was the one I loved, not you, not ever.’

‘No, you love me!’ She yelled as the tears flowed like rivers from her eyes.

‘Can’t you just get this through your head, your love sick, you imagine things that aren’t real! You see yourself as your sister. You’re sick, you need help.’

‘No, you have to.’ She said falling to her knees, still holding his hand.

‘You have to let go of me.’ He said as he tried to shake her off.

‘You love me, tell me you love me.’

‘You’re sick.’ He said taking back his hand.

‘No come back,’ she called into the rain.

His tall thin figure could just be made out in the thick rain.

‘Bill, I love you….’ She whispered as she collapsed onto the damp pier.

‘I love you..’ she repeated…
